The WNE Doctor of Occupational Therapy program provides academic preparation beyond a generalist level, including advanced graduate knowledge, skills, and fieldwork/experiential opportunities. The Extended OTD pathway (OTDx) is a part-time program completed over 11 consecutive semesters including summers. The program provides increased flexibility for students who maintain multiple life roles and cannot commit to full-time graduate studies. Students can choose from the on-campus or distance learning cohort delivery models. The OTD program combines opportunities for classroom learning, the development of performance laboratory skills, and on-site practice experience through the WNE OTD student-run OT Center and Level I and II Fieldwork experiences, as well as a culminating Doctoral Capstone project.
